Professional Biography:
A native of Michigan, Dr. Richard I. Ecker graduated from the
University of Michigan with a B.S. degree in Biology before
completing medical school at the Michigan State College of Human
Medicine. After two years of internal medicine training, Dr. Ecker
received his dermatology training from the Mayo Graduate School of
Medicine at Rochester, Minnesota, and at the University of Wisconsin
MOHS Surgery Unit with Dr. Fred Mohs. He also has an M.B.A. degree
from Portland State University.
Dr. Ecker is certified by
written examination by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a
Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the
American Academy of Dermatology. He is a past President of the
Yamhill County Medical Society and the Oregon Dermatology Society, a
past Vice-President of the Oregon
